null	Click photo to view    The Cabanas Park Resort is located by the wildlife rich offshore islands of the Ria Formosa Natural Park in Cabanas de Tavira. Shops, restaurants and nightlife can be found one kilometer from the hotel, and the beach a four kilometer boat ride away. The 96 air conditioned one or two bedroom apartments feature a simple orange and white décor with white wood furniture. All have kitchenettes with microwaves, refrigerators and cookware, as well as direct-dial phones, cable television and safes. Balconies boast views of the park.
Guests can dine in the onsite restaurant, which serves traditional Algarve cuisine and seafood specialties. There is a large seawater swimming pool and children's pool and the resort offers a range of activities, from supervised children's games and weekly barbecues, to live music and karaoke. There is a golf course two kilometers away and Tavira old town is also two kilometers from the hotel. The nearest airport is Faro, 25 kilometers away. A hire car is recommended for exploring the area, although visitors will find taxis and buses at the airport. Note: Cabanas Park Resort will close for the season on December 1, 2009. The hotel will open again on February 6, 2010. Animals are not permitted in this hotel.
